Mowing greens for the first time

Today was a busy and exciting day on the golf course.  The greens received their first mowing today in addition to being rolled, and edged.  We also began topdressing greens today to provide an even surface, and encourage lateral growth into the areas between sprigs.  This process will be completed tomorrow prior to the next application of fertilizer, and will continue to be done periodically throughout the grow in phase.
